Well, after 8 weeks of being closed it is time to reopen the doors again.
There are some restriction that have been put in place to work however.
The first is “medical need”. This is quite a large umbrella, so may I suggest that, if you are unsure whether you have a “medical need”, just give me a ring and we can have a chat. You will need to call anyway as I have to “triage” you and schedule the appointment (The online booking system, is still closed as I am not running normal hours – after 8 weeks of I have no idea how I am going to get to work for 8 in the morning again!!!).
Prior to your visit there is an online form that you have to read and sign (if there are any issues that you would like to discuss on the form then call me).
With regard to PPE, the government requires me to wear an apron and gloves, not a mask, as what I do do not cause airborne droplets. (Remember that if you have no symptoms and have not knowingly been exposed to the virus then you are healthy till proven otherwise. I am also keeping an eye on my health status by keeping awareness of my temperature and any symptoms).
I am also cleaning the adjusting table, reusable equipment, door handles and suchlike on a regular basis to minimise the risk of contamination by contacting these.
